Complete with Art cigarette title...!
Written and recorded on the floor of a local studio, amid a haze of Valium a few year ago. Good times. :e:

I've started making fiendishly poppy DnB recently. Probably not to the tastes of a lot of people on this board but maybe someone will appreciate.

The Cat Empire are FUCKING AWESOME BRUV!!! Cover is sounding pretty good but it's a really hard song to cover, dunno if the singer is you but the vocals let it down a bit, tonally it was mostly fine but the rhythm needs work in the fast bits, practice rapping and you'll/he'll get it down.

I used to listen to the Cat Empire all the time back when I was actually a real person and had friends and smoked weed in the sun and shit :( uh oh, epic nostalgia fail. I'm gonna go cry for a while bye guys >_>

Edit: dude what are the chords for this tune??

haha cheers dude, nah singers not me but it was only a quick jam on vocals cause i was running out of time and couldn't sing for shit, everything else though is me, urm i'll jam it out later on piano, cant remember them off top of head, quite weird chords though, inversion if i remember correctly.

and yh <3 cat empire

Wow, I don't know how I missed this thread. There's some excellent stuff in here. Jemgrover, that post rock track you posted is solid stuff. I had a little nostalgia moment myself when I heard that Cat Empire cover, that was excellent. Time to go break out my Cat Empire tracks and some blacklights.

Project Ex, I don't know what you smoke before you make that stuff, but I would like some please. It's like some crazy bastard child of Ambient and Industrial. That Valve track could stand up to even the dirtiest of dubstep tracks.

Grooki, that Electron track is pretty awesome. I don't know exactly what to classify that as myself, but it caught my attention definitely. On a side note, at one point, your avatar was almost perfectly synced to the beat. Gave me a pretty good laugh.

This thread needs to continue. It's a good thing to get some people away from dubstep for awhile.

Soundcloud

Probably the farthest I've gotten from dubstep in awhile.
