Does anyone know something about loop pedals or loopsamplers? i'm buying myself a christmas present and i need a looper for live gigs and stuff but i don't really know anything bout them. The main question is which one is the best for synths and samplers? and which manufacturers should i examine?
will be thankful for any feedback, peace!

Re: loopsamplers / loop pedals
I've played with a Line-6 DL4, and while it's technically not a loop sampler it definitely can be used to create some crazy sound layering.
Check out the Boss RC-20XL and RC-50 pedals too. They're pretty sweet... check out some videos by Zoe Keating to see what she does with 'em.

I have the RC-20xl and I love it. I know a lot of artists also use the Line 6 DL-4. Those two are pretty comparable.
Depends on exactly what features you need. More expensive ones like the ehx 2880 and rc-50 will almost act like a multi track recorder so you can trigger each layer you loop independently. If you don't need to go that far than the rc-20xl or dl4 are awesome
