:m: Ennit, I could shell out 30 quid for some nice ones, or I could use the free ones in the box.

I was just getting shitty desk resonance on bass notes and I could hack it anymore.

I'm pretty sure that it solved the problem I had, thus rendering anyones opinion on my ghettotech studio choices irrelevant.

A fellow Jerker user! I have mine set up almost the same way except I bought an extra shelf and have the monitors on each. The pic is in here somewhere. Can't get the parts anymore tho :x

The desk? I have no idea about it to be honest, my dad bought it years ago...
Surely you can just kinda cobble stuff together from standard bits and bobs, what did you wanna do with it?

Yeah, thats the ikea jerker a standard in home studios, but they got discontinued a few years ago.

I did what I wanted with it but you can't do the same since you can't get the parts anymore that's all I'm sayin. I wouldn't mind having another shelf even but the nice thing about the design is you could probably still rig something up. The desk that replaced it is pretty weak IMO.
