ffs just let the guy do what he wants. im not into that style of dubstep but he wants to mix then thats kl. u dont go up2 dnb DJ's and tell them they shouldnt be mixing certain tracks coz they dont sound like 'timeless'. not evry1 can be into dmz, hyperdub and swamp81, just the same as evry1 cant be into excision, funtcase and doctor p.

the whole 'dub' issue here is just the same as people calling 94 jungle dnb coz it has a break in it...but who cares? if it personally offends you then you need to stop perceiving dubstep as a 'cool' bandwagon where you HAVE to get all the jargon right or you're a true 'head' and look past that stuff.

Grow Up.

this is how this entire website is. it's pathetic. it's sad that if you don't like say..... loefah's mud then you don't like dubstep. that's f'ing retarded. that's like saying if you don't like "stairway to heaven" you don't like rock. extremely ignorant

i just got into dubstep, and i guess i like the brostep side of things more as it seems. at the same time i also find artists like skream, coki, vex'd, and a few others to be very good. i just prefer the more machiny type sound i guess. but it turns out that you guys frown upon anything that doesn't fit the old school dubstep "formula", and you drive away anything new and innovative. that doesn't make you a holy upon holy fan of the dubstep scene. it makes you an elitist prick.

sadly this forum has put a sour taste in my mouth for the whole dubstep scene. i hope that the rest of the dubheads i speak to don't end up being such narrow minded a holes. this will be a first and a last post for me at these forums.

the only constructive thing i can say is stop pushing away new comers to this great genre that is dubstep just because they don't like exactly what you like. to each his own.

peace,
CD

Machine noises aren't new or innovatice, they're annoying and pointless (in my opinion). Labels that are doing something different like Swamp and Hyperdub are innovative...

dont really care what kind of dubstep it is as long as its reffered to as dubstep not dub. i know a lot of people actually into dub music who get pissed off the the following conversation

"What kind of music you into"

"reggae, dancehall, dub that sort of thing"

"dub? i love dub? let me show you this tune"

(Insert skrillex/borgore/mt eden/dr p track here)

EDIT: and then get further pissed off when they show them some king tubby and they go

"thats just reggae isnt it? thats not dub!"

haha dont ever come here and ask what other people think. this is an elitist dubstep forum. too many 4chan wannabes here... everyone comments on ur tracklist and doesnt even listen to the mix cuz theyve "heard it before" or some bullshit. your better off posting on newgrounds or somewhere else to get good constructive criticism here. as i said before everyone here.. well mostly everyone... is an elitist when it comes to music.

the people here try really hard to troll and rage and make you mad but they are just horrible at it. go back to 4chan u fingerboxxying olevs

Hrm not that but if you ain't heard Stairway to Heaven how can you know discover rock then? It's one of those songs you must have heard, therefore you mustn't like it but you've got to check the roots of the stuff or at least try no? I know lot's who play crap songs on shitty laptops which don't even have proper bass and go tellin' around how goood skrillex is and it's a top producer but dang have never heard of Cotti or Zed Bias or Plastician ??? How the fuck is that possible? If you like something you dig in deeper and try to use the right tools to listen to it no? Or is that my near-sighted view? Shxt everybody always complainin' about people here haitin' whilst they don't even put any effort in the music they say they like big bullocks m8. Narrow minded as we are most of us TRY listenin' to every song, sorry we don't like 10000 sounds in to make 1 song and we prefer 5 sounds to make a beautiful RHYTHMIC track with some nice bass init... Old school dubstep formula? YOU KNOW WHAT A FORMULA IS??? I can say 5 flux songs (YES LOOK IVE HEARD THEM) which have the exact fuckin' same drop and sound... Never get this with coki and others though but hey we're all elitist pricks IF YOU WANT TO BE INNOVATIVE BE GOOD AT IT 100000 sounds ISNT INNOVATIVE ffs
Ignorance is when people don't make the effort to listen to it, then lots of "Brosteppers (I prefer dubsteppers but hey that's how they call it these days, why not goresteppers or krunksteppers also -_-" stupid different names)" are ignorant pricks believe me I know lots of those

widowmaker i listened to all ur songs on soundcloud. not into it. songs are alright just not my style. culdnt imagine hearing one getting dropped at a rave/festival... mayb an elevator? but anyways u talk a lot of shit for being so poor at arranging and producing.

my suggestion troll more! so that when people do hear of you... they think ur a gay ass troll on the interwebs. i mean bad press is still press right!?
