It genuinely blows my mind some of the voting in this thread. I mean the 3 or 4 runners up I can kinda see deserving *some* kudos cos they are definitely decent though nowhere near number 9's quality. But all the other tracks with 1-3 votes...seriously? I don't understand how anyone could have listened to all the tunes and then said, right I think this one is the best brostep track here. 0.o No offense to any of the people who made those tracks, hell I didn't get any votes because I accidentally made my track shitty instead of filthy XD

I thought the same thing- It's people voting for themselves. It has to be. those scoundrels

Coincidently, I also don't have any votes either. But then, I accidentally made a non-brostep track.... Whoops. :6:

Theres nothing wrong that with voting for yourself, really, as long as you only do it once with one account, and dont allow your family members to join up and do it aswell.

I shamelessly voted for my own, and someone else has voted for it too.

You dont see polititions running for election then voting for the other guy ffs

I think if you vote for yourself your a: not respecting the competition and the other participants and b: not respecting your own tune. I just can't understand why someone would vote for themselves. What if you won by one vote and the other person didn't vote for themselves. Maybe if you had voted properly at the beginning you would have voted for the other tune and the song that should have won would have.

Just seems like cheating to me, if I won something I would want to have won it fair and square.

Also with the sample pack comps sometimes you have like 11 entries and only 17 votes so voting for yourself makes a huge impact.

I used to share the opinion that it seemed like cheating, but i dont anymore. If i was really captured enough by another entry i certainly wouldnt have voted for my own, truth is i wasnt feeling the others enough. Theres quite a few with a higher production standard than my own, but i rarely base my vote on that alone unless im torn between 1 or 2 or more entries. And i listened to them all 3 times each before casting my vote as i always do.

Edit: But i will say this, if you blatantly just find your own track and stick a vote straight on it, then yea that is pretty disrespectful to the others and is plain wrong

Big thanks to everyone that took the time to make the tracks and to vote.

The winner of this tune battle was MOTHERDAVID with his track Falcon Punch.

with 42 of the votes.

There are a few 320's which will be made available this evening for those producers which agreed to uploads.

Like It's been said before, this was more of a bit of fun then a serious competition.

Now, onwards to the tournament.

*Mods, please can you end the poll*

9 is definitely the better brostep track. I think 11 and 15 don't really classify as brostep, but I liked 11 the most. This is mainly because I'm more into that sound than the majority of the brostep stuff.

As for the voting for yourself thing, what's wrong with it? How is it a bad thing? The idea of being in a competition is to win. It doesn't matter what the competition is for. Fuck the other people cause chances are, they are going to do the same thing. Maybe that's my competitive side showing through from all the sports I used to play. We never quit just cause the other team or player was obviously better, cause that's essentially what is being suggested.

Right everyone, just want to say cheers for voting for my track, and all your kind words throughout this thread, was killing me not being able to say thanks!

Anyway, a more completed version of the track will be available as a 320 to download via my facebook fan page which i just set up this week, if you dig my music I would really appreciate you all becoming fans and sharing to anyone one you can. I've got a lot of stuff to release which I've been working on, so sit tight

Mine should have won, i am the next Rusko! I just need to learn how to produce first...

Seriously tho, congratulations to MOTHERDAVID, a real good track. If i were you i'd release that track on beatport.

Mine was track8, first attempt at making a tune so i'm not too ashamed. :)

Firstly, nicely done MOTHERDAVID, well deserved win there.

Mine was 3, a bit too chill for a brostep comp.
