I went to a Caspa show yesterday thinking it would be just as great as his show was last year in Denmark. But his set was waaaay too "filthy" for my taste. And this is the same problem i have with skrillex's music. I don't want this to become a part of my beloved dubstep...

This.
Just cos I guy makes shit tunes, doesn't mean he's not a nice bloke, and just cos a producer makes awesome tunes, doesn't mean he's not a twat, although I've yet to meet any DJ/Producer in the scene that's acted like a cock.

I personally don't hate him, I am sure he's a nice guy. I just question his motives behind this sudden move into 'dubstep' territory, as soon as the sound is blowing up all over the world. Reasoning behind this? Because he did the same thing with the emo/scene trend a few years back. Smart guy for jumping on the bandwagon and making some money, he definitely has a business head. The sad thing is, people lap up unintelligent and uninspiring music these days because lets face it, all people wanna do these days is get fucked up and find someone to fuck.

This. Y'all throw around the word "hater" way too frivolously imho
It's ok that we all don't enjoy the same type of music. These days the "why u hatin" threads are just as numerous as just as annoying as the "hate threads" themselves. We need to stop bitching in this forum so badly, it's getting way too emo in here

His music is still gay-as, but fair play to him for taking all the hate with a bucketload of salt as it should be done.
Still though, what a faggy emo.
Fully belly-laughed at the end of this.

skrillex has some good tracks production wise don't get me wrong
but honestly his dubstep is just lack luster, it sounds like what excision and datsik were making back in 08-09
ill give him his props, he's one of the hype producers actually taking the time to put chords and melodies in his tunes which makes them sound a lot better.
it's just his dubstep isn't really doing anything to help the scene really, its just extending the bro phase for much longer.

I wasn't a Skrillex hater. Didn't even know who Skrillex was. Then I found this thread watched the video.
I now consider myself a Skrillex hater.
So that backfired majorly.
