yoyo, happy new years dsf, hopefully 2011 will bring more ill ish like 2010, but here is a tune i made before i went out and got smashed for new years...lemme know what yall think. also does anybody know why when i upload to soundcloud, i feel like it limits the shit out fo my song, or something, it loses its clarity and volume. Anyway, hopefully 2011 dubstep will lead to the 2012 destruction of the world.

the mix down is not so good, the snare sounds really flat, so perhaps try a better snare / rim sample. sound like you basically overpowered your mix down with the warp then tried to turn everything else up to compensate for it. I would hazard a guess that the bass was done following some kind of tutorial as its quiet good sounding in comparison to the rest of the elements in the tune. would look at turning the warp down by about 10dB just to hear how it fits with the rest of the tune.

tip: mix down your drums on their own. once happy the sit everything else in the mix at a suitable volume, nothing should be peaking on the levels and you should end up with a better mix down.

try this - kick -10db / snare -8dB / sub -12 or -14db then everything else should fit somewhere in there. please post up a new mix when you do one.
