You just described a bunch of vocal samples as a "drum break". Perhaps you should consider that as the start of your problems.

Yeah I like a mystery as much as the next man and I aint afraid to call it out when I smell a thick plot a brewin...er yeah I get it wrong more often than not though...

EDIT: Maybe if I got some kind of monacle/magnifying glass it would help?
