Chef des Berliner Labels ist der GROOVE-Magazin Chef Thomas Koch sowie die zwei Produzenten M.A.N.D.Y und Booka Shade. 2002 gegründet hat Get Physical eine Label-Karriere hingelegt wie selten gesehen. Mit der Jubiläums CD on Tour ist Thomas Schumacher, Urgestein der elektronischen Tanzmusik und maßgeblich mitverantwortlich für den Get Physical Sound.



Thomas Schumacher; ab 1990 ist er als Produzent nicht mehr aus dem Techno wegzudenken. Klassisch geprägt durch Wave ala Depeche Mode und Cure sind es außerdem EBM Bands wie Skinny Puppy und Nitzer Ebb die an seinem Stil schleifen. Techno ist es was ihn fasziniert, die wuchtigen Bässe ziehen ihn in Ihren Bann. 97 gelingt ihm ein Riesen Hit, mit „Ficken“ schafft er es in jeden Club, auf alle Plattenteller und verkauft die 12`rund 15.000 Mal. Knapp 13 Jahre und viele viele Release später hat Thomas immer noch die Nase vorn in Puncto elektronischer Tanzmusik. Bei Get Physical angekommen experimentiert er heute mit Trompeten Solos, Ska Einflüßen, Souligen Elementen und läßt auch schon mal Motown durchklingen. Aufregend und ein absolutes Must im noch so frischen Jahr 2011. An Thomas Seite steht heute Nacht Julietta und das Team von Licht+Spiel aus Altötting.
