The mystery of the Excision/Datsik Bass sound in reason

Well, i tbh, i dont really like my own stuff, thats why ive spent nearly 2 months trying to recreate the sound, in the program Datsik and Excision DONT use..... Im sorry i fail, i just dont see anyhting better...someone show me there sound, thats closer than mine.

This is MY creation no influences, i came home, fucked off my head ages ago, and made this.....see whhy i have tried so hard to make good sounds :/

ironically, i personally think your first track on your soundlcoud (from 5 months ago) sounds the best in terms of the synth work.

that was however from a quick listen on crap speakers...but it does go to show how when you do your own thing (kinda) you get a better result.
by all means take influence and inspiration! But i guarantee i could also make a patch which you wouldnt be able to recreate, purely because only
I would know exactly how it was made, so why bother chasing something youre not going to be able to do, when instead you could be using all

This thread is a fucking joke, just because you found the lfo button doesn't mean it sounds exactly like Datsik. The clip you posted sounds like something I could make in 5 seconds just by creating a subtractor and turning on the lfo 0.o

Check out the widdler, the prodigy,funtcase etc to see how a real pro uses reason. Not that funtcases sound design is even that good but still...dicks on this shit.

On a side note does anyone know if any of the DMZ use reason? Feel like I heard someone say Mala or Coki use it before but I can't remember if I dreamt it or what XD

Who cares if you can make excision's bass. If you take the patch from excision and give it to someone who can't arrange a song it's going to be a shit song still.

Write your own tunes, find your own sound. It doesn't have to be hard either.

Fuck listen to a song like this: it'll rock the floor still and isn't all techy and shit. Easy simple sounds but arranged well.
