Favourite artist names

Post by hayze99 » Wed Jan 05, 2011 11:04 pm

I've always had a fondness for Blackmass Plastics - just sounds so badass. There was another one that was ... Industries, but I don't really remember it. The whole DMZ and Tempa lot have wicked names too, never really got Loefah though.

Got a big dislike for all the piss-takes of people's names - Joy Orbison, Ill Gates and all that; although Robot Koch (take on Robert Koch) is pretty sick.

Party. :corndance

I loved Headhunter, classic, dark. Except if you put a z at the end, then you get a producer of mainstream melodic hardcore.
Horsepower Productions, cause it fits well their tracks.
Ramadanman :corndance

Oh btw, what's the deal with Loefah ? I never understood why this name

August Burns Red
WeCameWithBrokenTeeth
The Chariot
Pig Destroyer
Norma Jean
iwrestledabearonce

Actually pretty much all metal bands have funny/nice names

DJ Bassman
DJ MadSkilz
DJ Sub-Step
DJ Granny Stabaaaa

Oh no wait, I hate all of those. There's so many shitty fucking sub, dub, motion, step names around right now, it's lame.

Phaeleh looks so cool as a word, and I read it's pronounced fella? Just ruins it. Might as well have called himself Geezer.

I saw a DJ the other day who calls himself DJ Rentboy... I don't think he knows what that means.

I'm aware I completely missed the point of the thread, so Boxcutter, Burial, Noisa, Gravious, Four Tet get my votes.

Hmmm it appears that it does indeed have a question mark at the end.

Roboroc (It's like what he does has the spirit of rock, but its electronic so it's also robotic, deep)

I've always pronounced it leo-fah. Even after I was told I was wrong.
