Haha yeah exams is it. I wish u good luck !NilsFG wrote:You see Untitled itself is alright, the party just attracts a lot of dickheads who think they're fucking gold because they listen to dubstep.Rönin wrote:Nah Wallonïe but i'm moving to Brussel next year to study and I speak both French and DutchNilsFG wrote:Didn't know you were from Belgium? Where about? bxl?
Yeah Pinch & Distance are at Untitled. Don't know if I'm going this time.
Tickets are expensive and the main room is a bit hmmmm.. Caspa, Subscape, The Others, Trolley Snatcha, fuck that.
Room's gonna be full of people who don't have a clue again, if you get me. The Club will be better but still.
Happy for Gaz he made it to the main room though.So... Yeah Untitled are really nice parties, if I remember correctly there were Kromestar and Joker at the last one, that's gotta be sick ! And that Dub Police takeover thing... Well I guess they're doing it to get the hype, but "people who know" shall make a move to the club I guess
Last edition was the birthday edition. Spent 15 minutes in the main room (Emalkay, Dr P and other shit), rest of the time I was at the Club being totally wasted on Loefah & Cyrus.
I live near bxl by the way, studying @ vub atm. Which reminds me; I should actually be studying now.

Mate I'm a norwich head and I agree with this totes, but it's not all bad, exposure does some decent nights, or did, haven't been able to make it to one for ages.wizard_music wrote:in our town its 50% popstep (what you talking about/katy on a mission kinda stuff), 40% tearout (quite a lot of the djs in this scene are actually talented guys tho, i'm friends with 'em) and then 10% who play joker/starkey stuff. the deep side of dubstep is dead in norwich. (although i drop mala/distance regularly)
If I ever manage to work my way on to a bill I'll just play all of horsepower productions new album just for you
Re: The Cleanest Dubstep scene?
In Liverpool for my first year last year I was pretty disillusioned by the lack of people into the same music as me that I met at uni and stuff, and how the only nights out I'd go to and really enjoy were in Manchester, London or Bristol when visiting friends. Since then though, in the last few months, I've sort of done what I thought might feel a bit weird and actively looked on soundcloud and mixcloud etc. to find producers/DJs that are playing and making good stuff locally. Turns out there are a fair few people that are. There could still be more in the way of good nights and a solid scene up here, but either things are moving forward or I'm just more aware of it.
If there's any dubstep played in a popular club out of the blue, it's usually of quite a shitty nature. Some good DJs coming through though that need to play more often and that.
Any others from/in Liverpool? Anyone know what's going on with the Magnet?

big ups to the deep norwich heads. we are few n far between but exposure aims to keep pushing things still. look out for our next night coming up.... 2ND APRIL @ KNOWHERE BAR. linking up with lincoln based night CULTURE. 2 floors of future beats. nice bass heavy soundsystems over both. check the events section.gorillabearbear wrote:Mate I'm a norwich head and I agree with this totes, but it's not all bad, exposure does some decent nights, or did, haven't been able to make it to one for ages.wizard_music wrote:in our town its 50% popstep (what you talking about/katy on a mission kinda stuff), 40% tearout (quite a lot of the djs in this scene are actually talented guys tho, i'm friends with 'em) and then 10% who play joker/starkey stuff. the deep side of dubstep is dead in norwich.
