i got jumped once on the way home from seeing my girlfriend when i was 17. I didn't even know the guy and it was about 250 metres from my house. So my university is organising a day that all professors are available to ask questions about the lessons.
On the official calendar stood that it was today. So, I wake up at 6.30 AM, take my bus, arrive at uni at 7.45 AM.
Go to the CSB (some service at our uni), no one I know is there. Weird.
Ask the receptionist about it; "Oh, yeah, well, that thing's thursday so your a bit early"

FUCK. I just wasted 4 hours of precious sleeping time for nothing.

some guy got fucked up in my home town few years back with a claw hammer. Used to be in my class at school and read in the paper it was a random attack but when i asked round the local heads turned out he owed someone alot of money for some coke but lied to his rents about it so they told the newspaper it was an unprovoked random attack haha
