And to the OP, well,... That Pinch tune is what i call a tune that has substance. Like someone pointed, this track makes a certain type of crowd go wild. It has SUBSTANCE and BASS. I don't think you know what you're talking about at all. Trying to talk about music, when in fact it seems like the music doesn't go through your brain... Kinda like you just hear music, not listening to it and understand it. That "Dr. Sin" tune by Chasing Shadows is not that bad though

he compares a gangstarr track & a lil wayne track, pretty much says that tracks like gangstarrs have no substance & will put ya to sleep & he wants more bubblegum hip hop that will make ya head explode.

If he wanted some hard hitting dubstep tracks to play in his sets... he could have just said that.

& this cat is supposed to be a DJ? yet he can't source tracks himself.

I love all the musical styles, & each has its own time & place...

imho it makes them enjoyable to those who like that type of humor. i dropped rich bitch at a house party last year and it got rewound twice, to each their own though. you'd be hard pressed to find a post where i called someone else's choice of music "shit", but then (again) to each their own.

Short answer: any perceived lack of substance is largely because some people haven't got an ear for subtlety. If you want a drop which makes your "skull wanna explode" then fair does, but not everyone needs so much hype in a tune.

What you actually wanted was for people to post more tunes that "implodes people brains" - but that thread we get several times every fucking week if you care to look for it.
