Skream - Midnight Request Line (Zinc Remix)
I was checking out the Bingo Beats site today, and I saw this on his chart. Anyone heard it? Zinc has been mostly miss for me these days, but I'm still extremely curious as to what this may sound like...

Yah, figured it would probably be on a DnB tip. If it's anything like his remixes of "Eskimo" or "Sound of the Future", I wouldn't expect too much.
There's some kind of podcast mix the site....checking that now to see if "Request Line" is on there...
EDIT: Yup, it's on the podcast mix. Not nearly as bad as I thought it might be....sounds almost like he was channeling Amit on this one.

The remix is about 20 minutes into the mix. He plays the original afterwards, too.

Heard it got a good response when he dropped at drum rave other week (can't remember which rave! J Feaver?? Soz, too lean..) Can't wait to hear this at a DnB dance.... Jus annoying as most headz at a rave (E.G Skibba/Shabba lovers..) are prolly gonna think this is a Zinc production.
EDUCATE THE MASSES.

I think a lot of people will be put off just because it's by Zinc, expecting it to be a stupid over the top clownstepping wobbler... but it's not like that at all.

Well..... dont get me wrong - i mean - im into dnb, i like amit, im into dubstep - but im not really into this.Joseph-J wrote:You no like?Subliminal wrote:hmmm....
Not to be a naysayer -its not that bad!!, but i think just because he does the classic Digital/newer Amit beat doesnt mean ill like it. Its good someone is trying to do some cross-genre stuff, but i dont think theres enough meat and potatoes, kinda gimmicky sounding to me
