Also, anyone else got issues with a couple of the hat samples? CL-HHAT 2.wav seems to be silent when I load into Audacity, and HI HAT OPN.wav can't be imported at all?
CL-HHAT 2.wav, is going fine for me as is HI HAT OPN.wav.
Maybe some corruption during download?

Yeah not my favorite pack, no problem tho. Already made a small start.

No problems with those samples here, can open em ok with audition.

Wheewu, I can't wait to get home from work and open this badboy up.

I see the rule create the track with only the samples provided. Just so I am crystal clear that means we cannot have any sound at all that is not in this pack? Obviously we can edit them all we want, but I can't introduce any new vocals or sub bass or anything like that correct?

I don't think I'll be able to compete with anyone on here but look forward to participating, we got any other big noobs that are gonna give it a try? I hope so. Cuz if you do I'll actually be able to beat someone. ha. bring it on.

Yeah there was not whole lot in there I got excited about. Made some good stuff though, wish there were more vocals to choose from, oh well should be a good time.

Sounds live, I'll start when I get home.

Question, can I re-use the samples after this competition?
Do you say zerbaman? Or do you say zebraman?

Ok so the rules are no Vst's at all or just making new sounds, can we use reverb and eq stuff, and what do we use to upload, soundcloud?

I don't mind the sample pack so far. The TEAS sounds are my fav I think.

There was a couple nice long synth sounds I can't wait to mangle these up a little more. Can anyone say brostep?

Should be interesting...

Got a cheeky question for this, can I use Alchemy if I only use it as a sampler and effects house etc?

^^^ Nothing wrong with doing that.

Im staying away from Dubstep for this, started mine today, quite shocked at how well its going, i normally take a while to get ideas off the ground for these comps.

Yes, read the first post folks.

And it's not "no VST's" - it's "no VSTi's."

you can process the given sounds how you want, but can't create new sounds with synths or use other samples
