Want to cut some samples/clips *Answered*

I want to cut some samples/clips from a few movies/videos, and wanted to ask what you guys use to do that. I'm not a producer or anything at the moment, I just want to be able to grab some samples to use in mixes and stuff like that.

What would be the best way for me to cut some audio clips from movies/videos? For example, if I wanted to take some clips from Fight Club. Freeware is definitely most preferable, thanks in advance :D
