Re: DSF SAMPLE PACK COMPETITION-29
Gonna give this one a go again.
Just to clarify - not all VSTis break the rules, right? I can't see why you wouldn't be allowed to load up the sub (for example) into a sampler, fuck with it, bounce, load it up again, etc, even if your sampler is a VSTi and not a built-in instrument.

Yeah, I always figured the rules were 'no synthesis, ONLY sample manipulation' but it's always written as no VSTs which makes matters confusing.

Re: DSF SAMPLE PACK COMPETITION-29
Well, the rules should be common sense. He means no VST's or any other plug-in format like AU, RTAS, VSTi's that are synths or any instrument that can generate sound. You can use plug-ins that are eq's, filters, delays, reverb, and all other dynamics. He said you can manipulate the samples so that means resample, cut and paste as much as you want. layer up drums just only use the samples to create the track.static_cast wrote:Gonna give this one a go again.

Got the samples and looking forward to doing this! One question I have not seen answered. Do I have to use all the samples? Or can I leave some out? Thanks
