I swear by it, I mean, I'm no pro producer but I just love it, I work quickly in it any I know my way round it, so for me it's flawless.
I hate all the bs people say such as 'you'd work quicker in Logic.' which is clearly untrue as it would take another year for me to learn inside out, probably longer!

Why is FL ever slated? You don't see anyone abusing Logic or say, Reason. :l

I think it's just the name that makes it sound shit . But Alot of producers do use it pro and Amateur. Dubba Jonny, Deadmau5, Skream, Dirty Deeds are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. I am a Logic man myself, but I don't see Fruity Loops as inferior at all.

Fl is a great program people that slate it usually have never touched it or couldnt be arsed putting the effort into learning it.That or they have this irrational belief that because they use a more 'advanced' program then they are automatically a more 'advanced' producer. Im not gonna name drop pros who use it because it makes no difference. A good producer could make beautiful music with any DAW because talent is the key not lines of fuckin code.

Ok anyone ever have a loop and needed to move it over a bar, but it screws the loops wobbles out of sequence? so basically if you have a sound effect you need to put in a specific spot and want to restart the sequence after the sound effect you cant.Why does this happen and is there something i can do about it like a setting or different daw.

The interface is kind of shitty. It has everything a pro DAW needs (plug-ins, sounds, capaibilities), but it's easier to pick up something like Ableton off the bat cause of the user-friendly interface. Its dope once you get used to it, tho, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I think all DAWs are potentially good. Basically, you just need to get to know them. I personally found FL because of my dad. lol. He had a demo of FL6 on his laptop and I messed around with it and eventually put it on my computer. Years later, im still using it(well, not FL6 but you get the point). I know FL almost inside and out but to be honest, im still learning new stuff.

A lot of people just dont recognize FL's potential.

Really find that to be the case. Almost everytime someone says "you can't do X in fruity" they're just plain wrong, and in fact it's usually piss simple to do the thing. Ignorance trumps knowledge, often.

I mean, I'm not big on here, but I know that FL isn't s**t. I have used the DAW since I've been making music, which has been about a year or so now. I havent got any tunes out, but I'm working on some projects now, and am only now starting to produce 'listenable' music as you might say.

Anyway, FL has been nothing but good to me. It was cheap, great to learn on, and has some good stock samplers. Just add a few third party ones in there, and get onto trowing some effects down, then you really can get some professional sound.

I really wouldn't like to have to learn a new DAW all over again, I feel that FL isn't giving me grief, and I am gaining knowlegde from playing around, so why get something more expensive, and spend another year making music that sounds like gass with bass - no thanks.

FL should be praised more, it really is a great little peice of software.
