Never seen this myself. Admittedly I don't stalk this part of the forum toooooo much (though I do check it most days), yet I've never seen anything but respect for the women in the scene; MAH, Cooly G, Ikonika, Vaccine, Ashes57...
absolutely, all those women get great respect and that was never doubted. i was thinking of the "what ruined dubstep" thread in particular where there was ongoing banter about how girls in the scene have changed from heads just like you lot to bandwagon riding chicks who just want to be seen at a big night out. obviously a grave overgeneralization but i've seen/heard it elsewhere too.
true that its a generalisation but trust me i know nuff girls IRL that go to shows cos they peak off dj's
they also go cos they like dressing up, dancing to tunes, getting pissed, taking drugs, havin a good time with mates etc. etc.
the difference is, they dont care about the tunes in the same way for the most extent. from a music pov thats a nicht nicht
i personally couldn't give a damn cos if it means there's more sexy girls at nights then im down, plus if they're ignorant of the scene you can lie and claim to be a playaaaaaa!!! ahahahahahahahahahaha
