Made this a while ago, never put it up. I figure it fits in better than the other songs I've posted. Also, what do you think of the "snares" in Colours? I heard this song by Eskmo and thought they sounded pretty neat, so I gave it a go.

Soundcloud

@NonXero: Surprisingly calming. Hits at 1.31 fit right in. Mind if I use this song to chill out? :)

@Jaspervc: I love how it explodes at the drop, and the breaks are always a favorite. But, I think your kick is lacking a bit in the low end. It still stands out as a kick, though, and that's what's more important. Also, your waveform! D:

@Joeroxor: .28 was a mad tease, bro. But your varied percussion more than makes up for that. Kudos for cowbells! I like the relaxed vibe, too. I keep forgetting that songs uptempo can be just as chilling as songs downtempo. Also, your samples creep me out, lol. The title fits. It's just so weird how something so upbeat can be so unsettling when thought about.

@AdamFarnell: Heavy, mate! And you don't lose the melody in the process. I think your kick is a little loud when compared to your synth, but it works. The break at 2.45 came right on time, I think. Having shifts in dynamic is essential to keeping a work memorable. So, nice, and keep up the good work!

@whyrez
dope tune man. I love the vocal sample and the organ. Definitely feel some Burial vibes in this one.

kikaruu i love the flow, and the way it re enters is perfect. i think another small break somewhere in the middle would work out a little better

not really sure what to think about this one

@joeroxor diggn this man. fly buzzn sample haha love that. i feel the piano/string riff could have a few other changes up little something would be nice to hear that a little more throughout the song in various creative ways..but damn good song just the way it is keep at it

@AdamFarnell Excellent intro man but i feel your synths could use some extra beef behind them all in all great piece of work here man keep at it.

@oprs Diggn the vibe, for some reason sounds like someone is about to do serious work .. haha...really though i like the "metaly" sounds

@ kikaru, was getting a circusy kinda vibe or something, not in a bad way, totally dug it. Also like all the background instruments keeping it fresh. I think the harder bass tone you used could be touched up a lil but overall great quality.

@ oprs, I like what you have going so far, some strong deep vibes. It sounds like the drums and perhaps the rest of the track could use a little more to keep it interesting, but don't kill the minimal feeling.

@ kidstrange, Definitely dig all the little gaps/change ups/sounds keeping it exciting. You have a lot of crazy bass shit going on in between the normal line that is fuckin rad. I love the change at 1:20, not sure this song needs much work, but I think you could maybe add a little melody or something hitting on the upbeat with the open hat. Good work!

As for me, just made it today, first attempt at dubstep!
Edit: Had to fix some clippage

I wasn't so much going for wobbly wobbly, trying to make a deeper darker vibe

@kikaruu - Sounds like it should be in a fighting game or Jason Statham movie. Good work.

@oprs - I like the vibe, but I think some sine subs overlap(intentional?) I find the lack of snare disconcerting but interesting.

@BovineLoaf - Nice atmospherics, not too bumpy but a cool dark wobbler with deep samplage.

I did a remix of this ages ago but worked on it a bit today and did a re-up of it. Et voilà:

Not at all!

Re: white-zombie-blood-milk-and-sky-kikaruu-dubstep-remix - some real interesting stuff going on here.. lots of sounds.. I find my mind is trying to fight against what sound to pay attention to most of the time. I guess that's good.. it keeps the interest up in the track throughout the entire track (I find myself blazing through the predictable dubstep tunes you usually here just to get to the next change...). :D:

Anyhow, the feedback:

@ GDavies: Really nice, dark feel in whole song. All synths are beautiful and well in balance with each other. Sub is deep and menacing. Drums are the weak point of this tune. They sound really lifeless and dull. You need better samples and more variation. Mixwise all seems to be well balanced, but high frequencies are bit too loud and sharp for my taste. What monitors are you using? Great work anyway!

@ pixelatique: Intro is beautiful beyond all reason, as is rest of the song. Not sure what makes it dubstep though... Synths are more than awesome in this one too. Not really liking the bass, neither the bassline nor the sound you used.

@ arisemprex: One of very few tunes of this particular style that I have listened trough and enjoyed every second. Love it. Nothing more to say.

And here is the fruit of a few sleepless nights. Strong dub/reggae vibes. Don't let the pic fool you, this is not going to get released any time soon. It's just a label I made for a promo-cd I have been handing out to local deejays and music people. Tell me what you think.

Up! Really would like some feedback on this one. Not the most fashionable style of dubstep these days, but give it a chance.

@We Bang: Where's the feedback bro? :'( But your track is awesome! Loved the drums coming in, really good. And a dirty ol' reese! Nice vocal sample and pitch bent noises!

@Antihero: Love the guitar sample! So reggae, and the delay on the lazers is so nice. How about delay on the guitar chord once in a while, like and incidental? Love the glitchy sounds towards the end, would be nice if they were a little louder. That said, awesome tune. Also, mad respect for your logo. ;)

@Daddy Mchectic: Lovely intro, very glitch and tastey, I'd kind of be tempted to not remix a gaga track as it's been done countless times and her agents will ask massive people like Skrillex or Bassnectar to do that. I like the bass work, nice and melodic and the stabs on the offbeat are cool. :)) Just thought it might be nice to make the hats a bit more intresting, that's all.

I would write more but I'm busy with my art portfolio for uni. :/ I've given stacks one soundcloud though this month. :)

Any chance I can get feedback on my actual soundcloud?

Thanks ever so much. :)

@DannyDubstep - Posted feedback on your soundcloud. didn't want to put any negative feedback on your soundcloud, but I thought that the snare lost power when the tune dropped, think you could push it forward in the mix more, sounds overwhelmed to me, really liked this tho.

@We Bang - Agree with Danny Dubstep, Where's the feedback dudde?! Did really like this tune tho, thanks for the download.

@antihero - Loving the reggae vibe to this man, its true tho man, not the most fashionable of dubstep these days, but is quality! Got some real good sounds going on, this tune got me in a proper good mood, ha. Big Ups, nothing really neagative to say.

@daddy mchectic - Not into the original of this tune, but quite feeling this. like the sound you've gone for, very nero like. think your bass/ mid range bass could sound bigger tho, sounds quite confined, play around with some effects and reverb to try and open it out abit and I think it will sound alot better and more epic. eveything else sounds nice tho, feeling it!

@BovineLoaf - Liking the dark side feeling of this tune, samples are cool too. Don't really like the drop at around 1.50 as much, would rather of the lfo's staying slower like the first drop with some kind of lead over the top to give it some variety, but thats just personal preference, mix down sounds cool

@thedjaj - not really feeling the first tune man, like the lfo's slowing down at the start, but thought it was gonna drop into something else, there's not really a melody that you can hook onto, would also working on the percussion and try and add some more rhythm to it, like it more when you did this a bit, but think it could use more. Liking some of the mid range bass sounds tho.

The second has more of a melody that you can hook onto, but abit too basic in my opinion. needs more to it to emphasise whats going on, think the 2 tracks have some potential, just need some work, to get the sounds working together more, would definately add some variety into the drums, few off beat kicks etc, to help switch it up a bit. think they both have some potential tho man.

Some real nice tunes going on, will try and get back on here and leave some more feedback when I get time, sorry if I didn't get to your track.

Here's a clip of my latest track, let me know what you think.

@Skaven - I like the fact that you started the track with a harsh tone immediately, rather than something melodic.. I'll have to try this sometime. :) The drop is great, very heavy... but I think it needs a little bit more structure and coordination, especially with the high pitched blips in the background, like around 1:52. Overall, it's heading in a good direction.

@DannyDubstep - Nice melody, I've heard that synth somewhere before.. I'm guessing either a z3ta or Massive sound? Good job on the vocals, very well done the piano that accompanies it is very catchy as well. But I think you need a bit more of a build up besides the bass drums, perhaps a sweep or atmospheric effect. The drop is good, unique sound. With a little more work it could turn out to be a really cool tune.

@Antihero - I can see where you're going with the intro, but I think the guitar needs some EQ work, it's a little harsh. It just dropped though, and I'm absolutely in love. The headroom from the bass is amazing, I love the way you made it. I would recommend to lower the piano chords a few db in the background, however. When these tones are at higher levels, it can get annoying quickly. I love all the variation on the riff at around 2:10, very cool. :) In all honesty, besides a little volume changes or EQ, I can't think of much else. It's a fantastic tune.

------

Here's a Doctor P remix I've been working on for the past week. I'm getting into a habit of producing more often and I think I'm learning much better this way! Anyways, as always please spread the word if you enjoy the tune, and there's a free download in the description.

Thanks!

@kikaruu Big track mate! Wobble sounds a little over-distorted to me but definitely a great work, enjoyed it. Love the re-entry @ the end as well.

@thedjaj Both tracks a little plain, but that makes them pretty chill imo. Good works here.

@BovineLoaf Loved it man. Pretty bad-ass structure, I actually was feeling this one bro.

Soundcloud

First track I've made, loving dubstep at the moment, haven't been producing much so I'm not sure about the mastering and what not, just played around with everything until everything sounded clean, I guess.
