i feel you man, whenever i upload anything for more than 5 seconds, my isp throttles both my upload and download to dial up speeds. makes putting anything on the web incredibly frustrating

seems weird, why would they remove all of your purchases all of a sudden? open a ticket, they'll probably sort it out

It's in their FAQ and their solution is to contact support, so I'll have to do that - must be a security thing for dormant accounts. I have had a Steam account for 8 years now :s

I got a surprise when I opened my statement after I went slightly mad buying records on eBay. Suffice to say I became a bit more stingy.

When did you give the landlord the cheque? It takes a minimum of 3 days to clear in their account.

stress man...stress - I hate situations like that. Its like cutting the fine line of waiting for your new debit card from your new bank account with your new overdraft to come in time for important cant-miss payments....
im in the black nowdays tho :) (if you count taking a £7,000 loan out over 10 years to consolidate debts as 'in the black' haha)

Unless it's issued the same bank as the account it's being paid into.

as in post dated? turns out that means nothing. i did the same with a rent cheque and my landlord deposited it anyway and the money went out, taking me past my agreed overdraft and meaning i got charged for it. i went and complained at the bank and they told me that it's up to the discretion of the person cashing the cheque and tried to tell me that i was at fault for writing a cheque that i knew i had insufficient funds for. absolute stnuc :q: luckily my landlord was decent about it and paid me back my charges because it was his fault

i'm buggered for money too :( made quite a bit from selling records which is tiding me over but my agency fucked up paying my wages so i'm going to have to wait until the end of next week now, so that's 6 weeks without any money coming in. it wouldn't be so bad if i wasn't unemployed and broke when i started this job
