I saw them both on a lineup and avoided seeing them because I thought it'd be some cheesy dnb wobblefest, turns out I was wrong.
TC has really stepped up his game, on a similar tip to what Clipz did with the Redlight alias.

Jakes has been making some ridiculously out there tunes for some time... not a sniff of cheese!

It's an umbrella term, I'm hardly going to go to Erol Alkan forum or Breakbeat Forum am I?

I wasn't knocking Jakes, love his sound. I just wasn't fond of the early DnB work he did with TC. I'm enjoying this new direction though :e:
