Who influenced Dubstep?

Post by HJaxon » Mon Jan 17, 2011 10:28 pm

Who do you think influenced dubstep the most?
I'm pretty intrested in hearing how dubstep has evolved the most.

Also, who would you say are "legends" in the dubstep world?

Skrillex invented dubstep as the natural progression of screamo/punk.

The genre having emerged in the early 2000's means it was pretty much influenced by all music. If one type of music was taken away I don't think dubstep would sound the same...the variety and range of styles within the genre back this up.
