Djs playing out garage/future garage
I'm wanting to get some of my tunes played out. But I'm clueless where to start if I'm looking for a garage DJ.
Also is anyone DJing Future Garage in Sheffield. I've got an idea for a night.

Re: Djs playing out garage/future garage
Every night I seem to be going to, garage is being played more and more... In all honesty, I'm not sure if I like it... (I used to love garage back in the day, but on a night like that, i'm just not feeling it).

Re: Djs playing out garage/future garage
You are welcome to send stuff to me. Personally I like to think of it as dubstep in it's primitive form. At least the stuff that I play. I am up for signing that sort of thing if I dig it too so send it on over.

I dont really know anything about the history of garage, but the stuff Ive been hearin lately under that term sounds interesting to me. Rarely, if ever gets play in the states i bet

More play it now then they used to. Back in the 90's there were like 2 or 3 guys that played UKG in Pittsburgh. That's not too bad. House being what it is here, UKG doesn't really have the market it does over there. The popularity of dubstep is opening doors for the rest of the genres of the family I think.evil madmen wrote:I dont really know anything about the history of garage, but the stuff Ive been hearin lately under that term sounds interesting to me. I never really see anything of the like around here, but I reckon when it comes to house music chicago is picky.abZ wrote:More play it now then they used to.
