Thx its just a sketch at the mo thats why empty. just ideas
I left feed back without posting a track so thought that would be ok.

nnny: pretty epic vibe man, i would maybe throw some variation over the drones you got going on a little ways into the tune... i could see an epic drop into something real heavy around 3:10... that may or may not be your thing though, just a thought :e:

beardyman123: HELL YEAH! def feelin this one... i don't really have anything to say about the track man, sounds legit :m:

steeple: im into it man, i would maybe try gettin a little crazy with the sub bass for a tougher vibe perhaps... def a roller though :ukking:

here's a track i just started yesterday... i always hit a certain point in my tunes and get lost... welcome to any and all suggestions/feedback!

Shit my bad man, sorry! I didn't realise! Apologies!
The mids mate. But wouldn't worry too much. That kind of thing isn't exactly my thing, so get some more feedback from others :)

@ Projekt - FEELIN THIS MY MAN ... proper hand bopper, like the change ups aswelll good work matey

@ CenturySam - not feeling this too much me mate ... the levelz aswell you cant make out this tune to well?

@ nnny - the piano intro YER BOY ... nice work ... the drop takes you away again some good production skills shown, one thing i would say is the snare needs to be changed man or atleast make it more punchy it needs to stand in your tune,keep it up though!

@ hyperianuk - the drop is nuts ... and the sample mother fuckers ALOT ... love the electronic game sounds decent work mate

@ beardyman - good work love this love this love this ... BUT the kick needs to fit into the track its a bit to strong i think it needs to be more subtle more sound effects would make the tune goo off .. the b line is sick !

@Doughriley - warper ... sounds dirty but needs to be more evil sounding that atmospheric sounds needs to be darker would suit the tune more

something i started today ... its a bit of a change from what i normally make more into minimal styles ... let me know fellow dubsteppers

@Dougriley: intro is lush kicks on lead sound a bit weak try layering with some different kicks.
Bassline aint my thing but lots of sub in places which is more than can be said for most midrange tracks.
Much better than anything I could manage though so appreciation on effort

@Phenlight: intro is beautifull although the bass lead up could be a bit more subtle.
That first kick has some sick power behind it but the subsequent kicks seemed lacking from the first one.
Not sure about the wobble though. Again, i'm very new to production and it beats my efforts tenfold.

@Beardyman123: Good use of sample at very start. Like the kick. Bass and vocals are spot on. My kind of track. Big ups.

As for my effort, This is my third ever attempt at producing and wanted to experiment with styles so switched it up for this one.
Not sure what I should add/change with this one so looking for strong criticism and suggestions.

This is the first time so i'm gonna give it my best shot

@nny love the sub in dream in oriental, sounds fcking big on my headphones all in all really liked the track too.

@nonxero really liked inception well put together,must admit i would lose a few of the sounds in the intro but overall well put together and a great use of effects.I really like the synth line in the beginning.

@Mr hello i must say being a big fan of burial your track beneath was probably one of my favourites really liked the beats and the atmosphere of the track is awesome.All your tracks are pretty much mellow and i like that a lot,opposite ends of the spectrum to the sound i strive to achieve.

Well the track of mine i'm posting is my very first upload,it's only at the breakdown and still needs a lot of work,i've only done a basic mix through headphones not my monitors,so if the mids are a bit much thats because i have compensated for very bassey headphones.Anyone with pointers for the second drop fill free to voice your opinions and please go easy.lol

cheers

@Sinister87- pretty legit tune man.

@synpadub- nice and chill, it does seem like after the initial intro it was sort of drawn out before the other things come in, maybe shorten that. Add a few more things to keep people interested and you will have a gem :) and I'm working on my third ever track too lol.

@Steeple - nice track has a sweet tribal feel to it.

@doughriley- I agree with Steeple. add the atmosphere and it will be Evil

This is my third ever track so don't be too mean xD. Any help is highly appreciated.

@sinister
Pretty damn solid. Your mix sounds superb I'm just curious as to what you're doing to create that "mix" of synth sounds. Is it different synths or FX automation? I'm really diggin your style from at least this one track. Lots of energy with a hint of funk.

@steeple
The subs had my desk shaking, but really chilled out isn't my style. Regardless, I thought the tune was a tad repetitive maybe some more midrange wobble ;)

@coreygoesrawr
Immediately it looks like your levels are too high. It's borderline hard to distinguish some of the tones simply because of the volume :corncry: sidechain something out of your drumtrack to your synthm it will help it punch through alot!

I'm still so new to production, I begin to get really excited when I piece together a small section of sound I like. This is pretty bare bones dry, no automations and very little drum variation. I know I need to change these up as well with maybe a tempo change. Any and all feedback especially those that would concern levels and mixing are much appreciated!

Thanks for the replies guys. Me thinks I was trying to do too much with that track. I still need to learn a proper way to separate the sound stage from the drums. I adjusted my sub bass as well. Check it.

@ Ibscotty: I like the tune, maybe you could add another complimentary melody or harmony?

@dannydubstep: I dig the playing with minimal types of bass, reminds me of flux pavillion

@nonxero: sounds tight, like it could build up to a dnb drop at any time

So basically I started this song today, it's shottily put together and I just triggered a few scenes in ableton, but I really have no idea what to do with it
Maybe it's too much coffee in my system. Didn't mean for it to turn out like brostep, swear

@ Snypadub - The intro was promising but then came the bulk, which is boring. Maybe work on structure and melody.

@ sinister87 - Good song! I thought about saying what if the main wobble was spread out more, but I'm not sure if it'd actually sound good, you could still try it though.

@ lloydy - Crazy drop! Wasn't expecting it til I heard the kick that almost had a bitcrushed sound, very good and I don't think the mids were too high, maybe even too low (but take into account Im a beginner). Maybe after the first drop try something emotion-rising then break it all down into chaos leading up to the drop. On second listen after the drop ends, I feel like the choir-soundingness doesn't fit at all with the drop, it does have potential to be an 'epic intro' but I don't think it fits in w/ this track.

@ Aphile - Fine track, drum levels are nice. It sounds like it's filtered though, the main lead and maybe if it is, at 44 seconds in you could take it off or add bass?

@ CenturySam - Loved this song! Good melody, not a pain to listen to the entire thing. My advice is to keep working on your overall skills.

Here's my tune for feedback, I'd like to have suggestions, hate, praise and whatever else.

The track isn't too bad mate, but that synth at the beginning needs some reverb man!! Bass seems a little muddy, could do with some work, and there seems to be a lack of atmosphere throughout the track. Maybe get some string sections in there etc...
The basis is there man, just need to build upon it, and clean up the bass a bit.

@eldoogle Love that sound at the start, what is it? Sounds like something but reversed and delayed? Adds some nice flow throughout. The bass is nice on this track, but like I said to the guy above, it seems to be lacking atmosphere to me.

It's all good man I wouldn't say my shit is any better really.

I'd try an tweak that synth FX chain, I don't know exactly what you're doing but either the reverb needs to be adjusted or the damage control reduced. That's just my personal opinion. Also, when your drums and bass cut out, then come back in stronger try throwing in a drawn out noise with a changing filter, pitch or both in order to get the drop some suspense.

Thanks! Its the same as the snare but on the 8th hit its pitched down. Also the hard hitting part is cut, and the snare is reversed.
The effects are reverb, flanger, and eq. I might agree on it lacking atmosphere but can you be more specific?

ahh thanks man that is some good feedback. I will try tweaking the synth and thanks for pointing out the drop I kind of over looked it, suspense, suspense, suspense go!

@BevOh I agree with nnny try to build and atmosphere for your track that will help it out alot.
