...We cannot believe it is here already. In 2010, we brought you 15 ICEE HOT events and 17 badman (and badwoman) acts from all over the place. We have had so much fun doing it and promise that things are only going to get better in 2011.
For our one-year anniversary, we are bringing out the mighty KODE9. What can we say, the Hyperdub bossman is the godfather of what we do in so many ways. The man is an innovator, a thinker and a seriously amazing figure in the world of music and beyond. If you are not familiar with KODE9, then we're not exactly sure what you're doing at ICEE HOT.
Also making his triumphant return as a resident is LOW LIMIT. He's been busy taking over the world as one-half of Lazer Sword, so we haven’t actually seen him behind the ICEE decks since last June! We know that he'll be bringing some serious heat to make up for it.
As always, GHOSTS ON TAPE, SHAWN REYNALDO, and ROLLIE FINGERS (that's pronounced RA LEE FINGZ) will be there getting you stoked. Sensibly.
This event is taking place at SOM in the Mission. We are releasing LIMITED $10 presale tickets, which will sell out - quickly. We promise the sound will be legit, and we promise to stay open till 3am!
