I'd say *any* recording though is gonna create new things that wernt there before. Like it said though. It's down to haack to decide. Whichever way he sways should probably be added to the initial rules though in future to avoid confusion.

Oh man... that suuuuuucks.

However, this pack's so fuckin' big that you could probably swap out the old sounds w/ new ones from it and be fine, at least as far as choices go without having to re-sample out the wazoo.

Scrapped it and started again. Am determined to finish *something* but not feeling this samplepack very much if i'm honest, especially the lack of decent hihats. It's a pretty good exercise in resynthesis and resampling, to be fair...

wow, I've never actually tried to put sounds together in a full blown track before. It's so complicated... I've only really done sound "experiments" before trying to recreate things, a thought a month would be enough time to teach myself and come up with a decent submission but christ, my track sounds terrible lol.

I tried to come up with a few different drum loops and put them through an 8 beatrepeat rack playing live while launching shitty synth clips in ableton and its like wow I am just missing something. its too busy and unorganized.. ugh, I'll still submit it so you guys can make fun of it but shit it's not going well ha.

still got lots to learn... i just found out about this mixed in key program any of you guys use that for djing?

Oh deadly, not again!

Can't say I'm much a fan of this month long waiting period to be honest. Far too much time twiddling your thumbs waiting for the deadline. I mad my tune aaaaaages ago. I can't even remember what it sounds like and I wanna see how it fares..
