Early/Primitive Dubstep

Post by Fortifiv3 » Sat Jan 22, 2011 11:20 pm

I know Skream and Benga have produced a lot of early dubstep. I am wondering, where can I find more early/primitive dubstep? Who are all the artists that are credited with inventing the genre? What was the first dubstep song?

in the beginning was the sub.
dmz was the sub and the sub was with dmz.

lol jk, listen to mixes from 2005 onwards, they give a goos approxamation of the foundations that build dubstep today:
try and find the 'verstehen sie bass' sessions, they were sick iirc.
and excison 2006, and the first vex'd album and Electronic Explorations for a good mix of different electorinc vibes
