I was gonna post in the "Help me make this sound" thread, but it doesn't seem like anyone's been getting much help in there lately so I'll post here.
Can anyone give me some tips on how to get the sound at 4:10 in Exit Music by Radiohead? It sounds like a reversed recording of kids with delay and reverb added, but I think there's more to it. I'm specifically looking for the falling pitch sound, it kinda sounds like a bunch of bombs falling or lasers or something.
EDIT: Forgot the link

Ah my favourite band! Great track too.
I believe Johnny made it on guitar, with random notes and that technique he uses in 'The Bends' where he pulls the string off the side of the neck. I'm pretty sure he layers and loops it, and then adds reverse reverbs and delays. But let's face it, Johnny makes his own computer programs and DAWs for fuck sake, we have no chance haha

I totally agree with the guy who said that Jonny is a genius

My main instrument is guitar and he's one of my top three influences.
But yeah, I guess it is just a recording of children. I managed to whip up something that sounds like what I want anyways.
