Went to Amsterdam for the new year and stayed in the bulldog. I've booked flights to go again in the easter period but the bulldog hotel is full! Anyone know any good hotels, prefrebly near the red light district

. Must also be allowed to smoke in the rooms!

Easy mate, I can recommend this one: http://www.winston.nl/ its slap bang in the middle of Red Light. Brilliant rooms and some fucking FIT barmaids....

Also has a smoking room in the main bar, an outside patio, internet access and a full bar with bar food all day.

edit - and you can smoke in the rooms too.......

If I was you, I'd take full advantage of the fact that it's legal and walk down the street with a zoot like a boss!

When I worked in Amsterdam I stayed here http://www.friscoinn.com/ for the majority of the time, it's a proper pub downstairs much like the Winston but cleaner in my opinion. The best coffee shop in the dam is about 40 yards away on the same street it's called the Kingston.

The winston's about 3 minutes round the corner but the Frisco is cheaper and cleaner in my experience, the winston is a decent pub tho

we stayed here http://www.damcity.com/cribs/index_big.php its nothing like the pictures but its a good location right above a coffee shop and you can smoke to your hearts content in there!

The Winston is pretty cool. Didnt stay there but went in for some drinks and some pool. Cheap ass budweiser and jager and you cant smoke while playing pool. Defo a good shout to visit even if you dont stay there!!

Cheers for the replies, The Winston was full up, so I ended up getting a room in Amsterdam Cribs. @zerbaman, of course! But theres nothing like rolling a zoot before bed and having a wake and bake sesh chilling in your room!
