Requiem for a dream freaked me out...! when the fridge kept jumping and she was sketching out

Been searching for ages - the closest I could come up with was "Death Knocks" which was a stage play where the protagonist plays Death at gin rummy as he doesn't know the rules to chess but I can't find any reference to it being filmed though

I'm also pretty sure that it had made up "swedish" subtitles which were pretty comical running all the way through the film

Loads of great movies here, i'm impressed.

Woody Allen appreciation thread? : )

Count me in.

He's soooo ridiculously prolific, especially when you consider he writes, directs, and acts in his movies - what is it like one a year for 30 years or something crazy like that? Plus nuf books (also good), stand-up and his dixie land jazz band on the go too. He's a frikkin creative monster, like no one else, am i wrong? I'll even go so far as to say i totally approve of his mariage (to his ex-wife's young daughter) - its legal, they seem happy, its lasted longer than most in hollywood - and i for one am jealous... of both of them.

Defo check Anything Else if you haven't, its as straight forwardly enjoyable as any of his best. Midsummer Sex Comedy is a minor one thats good but lots aint seen.

Love Woody Allen.

No, that's from Love and Death isn't it

This was like a 20 minute short or something that I saw during a Woody Allen season (or maybe an Ingmar Bergman season).

Can't find hide nor hair of it though but I'm sure he wrote it, or was in it but can't find any trace.
Hmm....
