@ theduke_dubstep - Wow, really unique. Sorta funky and would go off as a 'staple' song in dj sets. Really like it.

Hey guys,

Its 1AM, I'm in the US for a change, and I don't have any speakers with me right now, I will see if I can get some tomorrow. This is kind of egotistical, but can you guys give me some feedback on a song and first thing tomorrow I'll get some speakers in the hotel reception and get those 3 feedbacks going(question mark) (stupid keyboard, can't find question mark lol...)

Thanks a bunch in advance, I feel really bad asking this...

Enjoy! :e:

EDIT: Germany apparently can't watch the video (es tut mir leid), so you can listen to the song through soundcloud (my sig). Thanks!

@Junkyardbassics - Nice synth, liked the vocals. Wasn't big on the bassline that came with the drop. mix down was nice. overall good production ^^

@Fatach - Mixdown could use some work. Can't really hear the kick, and the hats felt really outa place in the mix. Far as the melody and vibe of it... good place, think it just needs a remaster and it would hit that much harder.

@we bang - nice melody, synth, and likeing all the stuff going on within the track. Mix down was my only consirn. Felt the kick and drop could use a little more power.

@semihedonist - nice vibe to your track. Not really into all this deep stuff i've been seeing around but alot in this production forum im starting to dig, love the percussions on deep tracks. ^^

@nnny - siiiick melody and vibe dude. personally like 8 or 4 bars before the drop i'd silence it and throw that ambient voice in then drop it. I think your sub is overrideing some of the instruments in the mix as well. I could be wrong though. Still loved the vibe on that :)

I think I dropped a comment on all clouds of people below. If I forgot anyone, let me know and I'll fix it!
Big up everyone! Many very nice tunes here!

@ sprayyypaint : very nice and original tune man! I reckon a bit more variation would make it even better but still... :)

@ paravrais : great chilled out tune, love the space and the atmosphere!

@ therook : cool skankin tune man. Same as sprayyypaint : more variation would be nice but the vibe is there anyway!

@ nnny : not really feelin "alone" but totally like "dream in oriental". Love the atmosphere in this tune! Incredibly trippy! The distorted sort of violin sound is perhaps a little too loud ?

@ Biggls : nice one man! Some great work on the bass sounds and the drops are quite fat! The mixdown is a bit muddy tho. The drums in particular need more "clarity".

@ chewie : what can I say ? Intro is epic, mixdown is perfect, the arrangement is awesome, the atmosphere huge. Hope this one is getting released!

@ whyrez : beautiful tune. The sound design is awesome and so is the arrangement, from beginning to end. Would love to listen to the full version.

@ youthful_implants : big tune! Again, the arrangement is neat. Really like the sound design as well! Somehow the mix needs more trebble to me tho

@ hankerins : very nice tune! Love the side-chained atmosphere! Great pads!

@ sinister beats : beautiful tune! Can listen to that all day!

@ dub lemon : I'm not really into brostep but this one is pretty funny! Blatantly better than the Mt Eden version

Here's mine, techy ambient breakstep sort of tune :

@Be4ler Bit of a boring rythm, it's pretty much a kick snare with a variation on the wobble bass. That being said, i don't know how long you been producing, keep at it, don't try and imitate other peoples styles. Mess around with sound, become unique. That's how you'll stand out from the rest of the wannabe brosteppas

@Grace some nice vibes here, pretty chilled track.

@Daft tnuc nice percussion. I like the pads too. I think most people can appreciate this track even if they didn't like dubstep.

@dub lemon lol this will become as popular as the original.

Another new track in the sig

@daft tnuc: diggin that smooth chilled vibes, awesome bass. also liked that acid style lead synth. probably just a matter of taste but there's not that much going on in the track so I got bored after about the half ...

@wirez: great build up, nice deep bass. really digging the atmosphere. kind of expected this track to go crazy at the end but it didn't, that's not a bad thing though, perfect for a sunday afternoon.

@graze: wow this is different. diggin the minimalism, nice fx.

here's my latest one looking for feedback:

@daft tnuc - "Way To Heaven" - this one is really good tune! love the mix level, percussion and psytrance sounds in background :) also pads are very nice and how the track progress!! great one ! (and i wasn't bored even if the tune is going and going )

@grace - "Flight" few nice ideas, like the main notation and those stereo samples in track! IMO you should work here with sounds compression little bit to make sounds more bright! i hear nice melodies in your tunes! "Greay on a blue backgroud" is great and i would put there more air with compressors also (to pads)! Try to use PSP Vintage Warmer ! :) (but maybe this is my ears).. good work!

Thanks a lot man! Yeh man it's more of an ambient track, the drums are only supposed to be for effect... They're being misleading if it seems like they're going to build to something EDM-like -w-

Will return some feedback for you on your Soundcloud! :Q:

@ toxidbeats: that mid range is fuckin sexy... and that high synth line would drive me nuts (in a good way) on acid... Super trippy, love the vibe, only thing I could add would be maybe break it up a bit more with the percussion (that being said the rest of the song has enough motion to keep me engaged) Killer tune bud.

@ Shekul: There's a sweet chill dance-y vibe to that whole tune but 11 min is a little hard to hang in there for... there's sweet morphs and transitions in there I just think they need to be meshed into a 3-4 min song eh? Love the ethereal pumping/pulse motion though.

@ Semihedonist (love the name bud) Rich tune... full round sounds... sick attention to detail... my whole room is vibrating... Another one I want to hear on acid haha...Only thing I can say about it is the highs hit an uncomfortable frequency at about 2:07... even so... would you mind hooking a download link?

Here's my latest...

@just-the-tip interesting stuff going on here. wasn't expecting it but i like the sounds and feeling. i feel like the keyboardish sound that you hear most prominently at the end could be raised in the track as it made the song more engaging.

@toxidbeats nice melodies and progression. has a good groove carrying throughout. cool hi-hats.

@daft tnuc cool rhythms and percussion combine well with the pads. nice timing for breakdowns. imo could use something more memorable somewhere. nice production

@wirez sick atmosphere with nice samples and interesting piano parts. interested to hear completed version with the building percussion.

comments/criticism appreciated:
