There is a hell of a lot of artists on there. I thought Snowbombing looked MEGA and this has just backhanded that.. (Although i wouldnt say no to a week on the slopes followed by the likes of Skream, Joker, Shy FX, Benga and Scratch Perverts at night. (Amongst others)).

God knows why but i had a feeling Zomby was gonna have it this year. Guess not.
I went Outlook last year... and am going Snowbombing this year.

Kinda gutted to not be hitting Outlook again, but my main dubstep princess can't make it this year, wouldn't be the same without her, and I don't wanna rinse it!

Anyone here a volunteer last year? Wouldn't mind knowing what's involved...
Yeah mate dubstep's cool. Kinda prefer tech house these days. Gnome sayin'

i volunteered last time for the free ticket, was pretty bless tbh, campsite shifts were awesome just walked round the campsite smoking and drinking, some guy broke his ankle on the first night though from playfighting! was lols but i felt sorry for the guy.
the supervisors were all sound as well, really cool people.
i got one shit shift standing guarding a 20-30 ft drop that some guy had managed to fall in! didnt even hurt himself though lucky guy. it was the one on the right just as you entered the area around the fort, if anyone remembers like a big moat thing. suprised he didnt break anything.
i sacked off my last shift on sunday as i had to get the sunshine bus at 6am anyway and we had just bought a big bag of speed and i though fuck this i need to go out with a bang.
but yeah its defintly worth doing if you cant afford a ticket, not sure how theyll do it this time but basically you get one wristband everyday of the festival if you do your shift. one of the other volunteers kept leaving his shift so he didnt get a wristband the next day! how guttin. .
but yeah, you also get a meal ticket everyday iirc correctly there was no limit on it so i just got the biggest thing i could each time lol.
i think it was 3, 8 hour shifts over the whole festival, cant remember exactly tho.
even if your working youll still have a great time trust me, youll meet loadsa people and if you get a shift by a stage its pretty much win.

tl;dr, all you have to do if you volunteer is hold the djs drink while he rolls a bifta.

so up for this, just passed on innovation in the sun due to money commitments (car insurance :crybaby: ) just wanted to know about accommodation. last i saw on the website was they werent offfering any hotels directly as last year it all got fucked up (sounds shady) and ive heard from my brother that the area around it is fookin sketchy and pretty empty. if i went id hate to camp (not a festival type, i need a solid 12 hour sleep and a wash every night) so whats the hotels and shit round there like, anything close to the place?
