Straye - Automata of the DEPTHS (Crazy Heavy BRUTAL Dubstep)

Trying to depict some sort of underwater sea beat/machine. Tried to make as brutal/varied sounds as possible.
Still only a work in progress, so crits would be appreciated. (still a soft part and a 2nd drop to come after this.)

I really dig the intro and bass variations. But I agree with shaney you need to add some speaker shaking sub bass to those bad boys

Great track, kinda ends abruptly, some o fhte bass parts sound muffed, but the variation in the bass is dope. good stuff

very nice, good that you have managed to make it sound unique considering the type of dubstep it is and the sheer volume flowing around these days. maybe try and add a bit of volume automation on your sub under the wobbles, would be good to hear the sub rise up and down quickly occasionaly in the track, would add some more depth in my opinion. great track though, just downloaded

ahh thanks, I never thought of using volume automation to wobble the sub >_< haha, I definately will in future tracks.

I like the panning/cutoff automation on your bass line man, really adds depth. Glad you ended up adding a little bit more sub bass, it's really made a difference! Great track.

Im on a laptop so I can critique the low sine osc. But like other have said it is pretty solid. Try using more than on chainsaw patch. A variation in drive would be nice. There needs to be an outro as well.

Eh, yeah I did try to vary the sound as much as possible by automating the bitcrusher and flanger, but perhaps I'll more than 1 patch in the future.
