The Chinese takeaway van next to the office is called "The King & I". This is an utterly irrelevant name. The King & I was set in Siam (now Thailand), and this van does not sell Thai cuisine. It's annoying me more than it should.

I have not encountered this, Milo you speak of.

But I swear I saw it in Tesco

I'll keep my eyes out for it. I love milkshakes, I have a mean one every morning with my breakfast: 1 Pint of full fat milk, nesquick, one raw egg, protein powder, and if it is a strawberry or banana flavour one i'll stick in some yogurt and maybe a bit fruit. After the carry on with the big C I lost a load of weight, went from 10 stone to just above 7 and after nearly two years am nearly back to my original weight.

It's dead hard for me to gain weight as I am naturally slim as it is - 5'11" and 10 stone is my ideal weight, my dad is 6'6" and also skinny, as is my brother. So it's in the genes. I could eat lard and not gain an ounce!! I also haven't got the best eating habits, when I live on my own I don't like cooking for one person so will often skip meals etc. and get food at work or just have one decent meal a day, but now the missus has moved in with me I am motivated to cook more. She's a chef at a hotel too so can't be arsed to cook when she gets in from work so I often do it.

Good thing about her being a chef is she eats anything, she aint a picky eater, picky eaters do my head in

Went to some orchestra concert last weekend. I keep blinking and errything is blurring on the computer screen. I really need something better to do. Still no word from any of the places I've applied for. I'm jobless, got no money, and my computer is broke. No more working on music until I get a new one for me

I don't know what I want for my tea, quite fancy a decent chicken breast sheesh kebab with loads of salad, humours, olives and pita bread... washed down with a cold glass bottle of coke.

But I can't be arsed to do a 40 mile round trip for a decent kebab. Living in the countryside does my nut in at times
