High Quality Pitchshifters?

I’m finding Logics PShft II introduces too may artifacts above or below 5/6 semitones… it sounds bitcrushed. So usually I’m able to keep samples around 3/4, but for this tune, it only sounds “right” at -12 and that’s just too crunchy.

It’s weird really, because I love Logics plugins, usually so transparent.

This is one of my biggest complaints of Logic's stock plug ins too! Most of them are soooo clean and good but that pitch shifter is awful. It's awkward, hard to use, easy to do wrong and be fucked afterwards, and as you said leaves artifacts if you bend more than just a little!

I went and downloaded Melodyne demo, I’m so desperate to get this part done… But it was is so good, it was too good--transposed part sounded better than the rest of the tune! LOL

So I ended up going with AUPitch (Audio Units > Apple > AUPitch) Lots more parameters, and cleaner sound, yet still fit with the mix.

Still, looks like I’m going to be coughing up 300 bucks soon… Melodyne is freaking amazing…
