Someone help me out. I'm looking for a movie to watch. I'm pretty stoned right now. Tripping substances that reveal to you different and new dimensions is a hobby of mine.

And for some reason, I thought that would be helpful to you guys in recommending a movie -q- :santasmurf: Any ideas?

The girlfriend gave it to me recently. Any other fans of Godzilla or 1950's monster movies?

holy shit... what an absolute travesty of a movie.

wouldnt be so bad if it werent for the continuity errors... seriously... who the FUCK edited this shit?

as soon as he turns on his lighter, you can see burn marks already on the lid.

first thing he does when he gets the wrist ties off is take off the gag (which is around his neck at this point)... no less than five fucking seconds later the gag is back on his neck...

and he uses the lighter as light... to see a glowing cell phone screen when he's looking for signal? ...what. THE. FUCK!?!?

a dial tone? on a cell phone?!?!?! it's almost as if the director just wanted me to rage all over the place.

it says "90 minutes of oxygen" on the poster up there... um...no. more like ten minutes, with the amount of time he had the lighter flame on.

not to mention the cell phone battery bar jumping all over the place... 3 bars, 1 bar, 2 bars, 1 bar, 3 bars... urgh.

wouldnt be such a bad movie if it didnt look like it was made by a bunch of retards who have absolutely no idea how to preserve atmosphere...

im normally not even that good at picking up goofs, but good grief, if there's one every freaking five minutes, it's gonna ruin the movie for me

I enjoyed Buried, think Reynolds did a great job but I did notice some errors like you did but really, you said REC was terrible so I no longer value your movie opinion. :6:

No way! Thought this was really good! The second was good too, a few cliche horror story line bits but if you can get past them it's great.

it was a good movie! only because of the last scene tho...

hmm... mysterious disease makes people zombie-like and violent... where have i heard that before....

oh yeh, that's right... fucking EVERYWHERE, including 28 days later, which was way more entertaining and came out five freaking years before this....

Buried is terrible, can't believe people were recommending it on another thread. [.REC] is pretty good but it's nothing you haven't seen before.

If you want to watch a totally original and brilliant Spanish flick, check out Intacto.

never said REC was terrible, i liked it a lot, the last ten minutes were worth the whole film dragging and being predictable.

Also, Buried has a really unique and interesting storyline, but relies too much on placed plot devices (the snake) and the fact that his cell number is blocked to everyone including the FBI, he only tells the number to his wife, and yet his boss conveniently finds a way to call him

the ending is intense, but definitely doesnt deserve the rave reviews it got.. you need to read my reviews more carefully... i liked both Buried and REC, just rage at certain aspects of them. doesnt mean i didnt find them worth watching, it's just easier to point out the things i can moan about

finally got around to watching this in its entirety,

gotta say, such a wonderful film, suspends reality so well...

deeply philosophical and silly at the same time.... truly a rare and wonderful experience.

does Adams justice. RIP
