Consistency of Workflow
Some days when I'm working on tunes, I'll be totally inspired and everything just seems to be going right. Other days, I'll work for hours and hate everything I make. Sometimes it can be really hard to get inspired and get a tune going. When the pros are in the studio, are they able to consistently make great stuff? Or are they like me where somedays they just can't seem to produce anything good? If you experience this sort of thing, what do you do on those bad days?

this and also were humans we get tired/bored of things dont strain yourself just let it flow if you feel like youve got something to put down do it, if not come back later

production isn't all about creation. At times when the muse is taking a smoke break, there's always umpteen thousand other bits of work to get done. organize samples, work out an arrangement for some other song idea, build synth patches, etc, etc.mlh295 wrote:Some days when I'm working on tunes, I'll be totally inspired and everything just seems to be going right.
