Wicked night. So glad I made it down.
Scuba was nuts as was Forensix. Enjoyed what I caught of Benny Ill. Ramadanman was large - especially the 'Ian Dury' tune lol.
Cool venue too. Great soundsystem.
Wicked to finally meet forum peeps. Big up to everyone I spoke to!
Anyone that didn't make it - don't sleep on the next one.
At work with three hours sleep. This afternoon is going to be interesting.

Wicked night. Real vibes ina house. I just walked around chattin for most of the evening. All sets were good. Nice putting the world to right with SLT in the toilets. (why does that look a little wierd in type. lol). Probably one of the best night i've been to. Benny should have most definatly been in the main room. I think i danced the most to his set.
Out to everyone. PK, Shonkey Monkey, Ramadancrab, Fofo (he's on his way round to me gaff right now. This does not look good for the rest of the day), Ikonka, Bagelman, SLT, Contakt, KID C, Ewah and her big coat

Great night - out to tronman with some fruity picks there. And big up Unlikely for dropping War- sounded so sweet on that system. Darkside was carving a heavy groove getting everyone skanking but I had to leave early. Would have loved to have caught Benny Ill's set - what was he playing? Old bits / new bits / a mix up?
I was at the bar talking to kid and i was sure he said the last tune i was feeling had an Ian drury sample.. or he might have said hit me and i just made up the rest lol..I must have been out of my mind. 1st time I've heard Ramadan out tho.. big up Hessle Audio crew- big things soon come!Ramadanman was large - especially the 'Ian Dury' tune lol.

Started off a bit techno, bit housey - all with some supreme funkiness and then mixed it up into playing loads of 2 step and dark garage - he seemed to be playing two hours straight of mad funkin riddims. Real shame it was on at the same time as Scuba and Forensix as it was one of the best sets I've heard in a long time. Really nice contrast to the more sombre, earnestness I've been hearing in a lot of recent dubstep - gotta love that hedonistic swingjonrust wrote:Would have loved to have caught Benny Ill's set - what was he playing? Had a chat with him and sounds like some new Horsepower stuff due for summer which seems like far too long a wait to me

benny ill was far too good. ive never seen such a jokes dj, he comes like he's just pulling whatever comes first out of the bag, chucks em together then drops it. loved seeing him wipe about a cm of dust off his Dancehall EP! too jokes. but his tunes
that little section after the techno but just before he dropped into the dark 2step, what the fuck was that? maybe really early UKG/dark US garage? but yeh, too good, i couldnt leave from the moment i walked in. so much funk and energy
cape-cape-cape-cape-cape-fear....

Goood news! I thought his set was smashing in all senses of the word and would be well happy to hear some new Horse business. He's all melodic skip on the top and big badass trouble bass underneath which for me anyways is one heavy combination. Would have loved to hear him in the sonically warmer back room. My first Corsica - loved it.
Always a pleasure to see Brighton massive and MBP, too.

Don't know quite where the hardon bits came from, that was probably the Kid in the back seat.
As per bloody usual
Hmm....
