i cant say there is any one genre really

chart music isnt a genre its a mixture of all the lamest obvious elements of other genres

like im not a big fan of commercial r&b mind but i do like some tunes

the worst music is anything terrible that thinks its deep and meaningful

namely modern major label bands

its so utterly pointless

its my job to know the difference and i honestly cannot

each new band makes me cringe more than the last with their obvious cliched white middle class boy from kenley lyrics

Jump up DnB Bro!

Wank Indie bands that people seem to pretend to like so they can get away with dressing like a victorian rapist.

Minimal techno house stuff, when someone tells you that you need to be off your face or you won't get it, that kind of declassifies it as music to me.

People who play really old shit pop (Boyzone, B Witched, Aqua and the like) to try and be funny and say to people "God, I remember when this came out! I loved it! Do you remember?" Being that I was on the planet at that time and roughly the same age as you, yes I will have heard said shitty song, I probably though it was as wank then as it is now, now piss off and play another game of ring of fire.

Unfortunately being a student I am surrounded by people that are into all of the above.

Excuse me while I go and kill myself now.

Oh yeah! This German guy I knew loved minimal techno. I said psytrance, but this ranks about equal on the no scale.

Neither of them tunes convinced me I'm afraid. Jump up DnB just has far too many dicks in it, and I get so bored of it so quickly. Heard some DnB lately that I'm not too impartial too, but it's gotta be deep for me or I just don't get it.

Utterly abysmal. I can handle 'difficult music' and quite like some stuff I've heard under the 'free jazz' banner, but they were so bad and pretentious I couldn't handle it.

Fumbling with their instruments, dropping them deliberately as if to make some sort of statement, playing vuvuzellas and the most idiotic beat-poet I've ever heard. The musings of a 'rAnDaumZ' 14 year old. All of this being played to a room with 10 people in it, all chin-stroking and applauding.

Piss off.
I once had to film the London Jazz Festival. It was one of the worst days of my life. It really was inlistenable. Everyone performing just seemed to be showing off. The beard stroking was at a nauseating level. They even had a DJ playing a freeform Jazz set. Which basically meant that nothing was beatmatched :corntard: :corntard: (DJ Spooky)

you don't have to be off your face to enjoy it at all, this is gonna sound a bit cliche but some people just don't get it anyway. although some tracks are incredibly tedious, you get shit tunes in all genres
