twisted is a boss, the don of wobbles
from his real fb:
Twisted Individual: would probably give john b a pat on the back if he wrote bladwagon poos nowadays!!! rince it out proper!!! same bassline fuck off.... shit man john was way ahead of his time.. i bet hes pissin in his pants listenin to the state of jump up 2day! lol

Twisted Individual: if no record lable wants to sign ur tunes...... its probably best u dont start ur own lable.... saturating a saturated market isnt the best idea!! takin pride in ur own work is good and stuff but look at the bigger picture! the reason my output has been low over the last 5 years is cos i know my shit is generic and not... up 2 scratch, i could of had a release every month, but that is pointless!!

was nice as hell when he played here and i opened up for him

Twisteds biggest claim to fame is beefin with John B... if that shows you who's more relevant to drum and bass.

John B's - Sight Beyond > Anything twisted has ever done, will do, or will be released on grid recordings.

I'd never dress like John B and I can't exactly say it's a style I like but he's got the balls and panache to pull it off.

I've always been a fan of John B's stuff, mainly as I like the sweaty electrostep he puts out (Naughty Little Emily etc). His podcasts are pretty mint too, other than the Nightlife series they're the only DnB mixes I'll ever find myself going back to for a relisten.

Regardless of troll thread status, at least TI has the balls to admit he is nothing but a producer of bait wobble and generic guff. Got a lot of time for John B though, some sections of his producer masterclass session for CM were rather good.

if you thought dnb was getting old in 99 you missed out on probably its pinnacle year

aftermath, diagnostics ep, weekend world, world of drum and bass, molten beats... biotic launched in 99, cylon launched in 99, armageddon, metalheadz boxset I believe..... could go on for days. 1999 was great

John B made some marvellous tunes. Twisted Individual was one of the producers who weakened the scene.

deadly, that isnt doing much for your argument. That was the shit side of drum and bass from that era. Twisted Individual and Baron marked a sign of the times that brings a frown to the face.
