If cats purr at 30hz then that says a lot - because cats purr when they're happy but also when they want to relax.

oh shit deadly habit

...

barefoots where made for bass music producers

I invested in a pair in 09 ... best investment in a minute

game changing speaker .. everyone I work with and my friends can also attest to this ...

if all you produce with is a laptop, midi controller, high end sound card + speakers why not know the most immediately with awesome monitors

I sometimes even turn the subs off and listen to the mix with only the 5" 's and the tweeters

to find out more just google "barefoot vintage king mm27 "

I also have 2 other pairs of monitors and headphones hooked up to my avocet studio controller

I like hearing other speakers as reference too

barefoots being the super high end and my other shit being well other shit lol

But whenever it's anything else (House, Drum and Bass, Hip Hop) they have no interest in it. Am I just tripping? Or do animals have music they prefer to listen to like humans?
whenever i make a grimey midrange bass wobble my cat starts running in circles and hissing. is he trying to tell me something?

i definatly think cats dig the wide range of frequencies in electronic music because same exact thing with my cat when im workin on tunes/listening to beats he immediatly hurries over and just chills next to the comp, now and then ill look over and hes purely enjoying himself...as soon as i put some rock on or anything else he seems to snap out of it and run off.. funny thread btw never thought id see this on the production forums.

Every cat I have had has absolutely LOVED bass. Curling up next to a bass cone, and sometimes even eating the cones while they are pushing bass. :/
Yeah definitely. I had a cat that used to like to sit right between the speakers when I mixed to get the perfect stereo separation but this was before there was such a thing as dubstep tbh. I don't let my cats into the studio anymore because they take poops up there sometimes :x

My baby loves dubstep, guessing because of all that she heard in the womb.
My dogs on the other hand don't seem to be fans.
Fuck cares what my neighbors think.

you know, i've had the same experience. whenever producing on my pa, my cat will come into the room and sit on top of the speakers.

Uhh... rinsed joke.

I'm not sure about cats but I have four chickens so if anyone would like me to document the effects dubstep has on hens, I'm there. :4:
