Yeah liking this, almost wanting to hear more off-beat snares n kicks etc, but I guess it would lose its chilled/minimal quality.

Cheers!
I know exactly what you mean....it kinda distrupts the 'marching' quality of the drums, but i might sort some more offbeats and find somewhere they sit nice.

really really good intro, building up tension nicely

very epic :D

beautiful beautiful sub

could do probs with a more upfront snare i think. more crisp, more snappy.

i would also add some fastish bongos. i think they'd add more energy to the track

anyhow, really really nice work

Cheers ramadanman!

I had tried some bongos (well some Japanese percussion)
It just didnt sit with the sparse vibe very well.
And I also mixed the snare right back in the mix as it was starting to be too upfront...to prominent. I wanted to give the other elements loads of room to be heard.

nice vibe man! i thought all the synth washes and bass and beats sit really well, was after something else as the track progressed, the killer bit u know? like a flute sample or more vocal chants just something to lift the energy a few minutes in, but yeah sweet!
eeeeee wot
