the bible is like a streetmap of a place you haven't been that there's lots of other more reliable maps around that are describing the exact same place

i reckon the best description of the situation going on is the episode of southpark where earth is getting canceled and they reveal it's been a reality show the whole time where they got people from planets that don't like each other and stuck em right up on each other just to see what happens.
