► L-WIZ (90min LIVE SET)
▸ ALL OUT DUBSTEP/KAPSIZE [SWEDEN]
Swedish duo Claes Rosén and Ola Näslund (aka L-Wiz) have been making dubstep since 2000 but they really started turning heads when Caspa released their “Girlfriend” 12” on his Dub Police label in 2006. L-Wiz generally falls in the mellower end of the dubstep spectrum, although they do occasionally indulge in what they like to call “headcrushing satanic basslines.” Now a key name in Sweden’s blossoming community, L-Wiz is a part of Stockholm’s All Out Dubstep crew and has also released music on Redvolume, the country’s first dubstep label.
► BAM BAM DEALERS
▸ DUB BULLET/ SIRKUS/ PESKY PLATES / IDLE EYES RECORDS [UK]
The Bam Bam Dealers formed whilst studying music production in Manchester. With mixed musical backgrounds and varying tastes in music they found their middle ground that was Dubstep.
"We DJ out, mashing up dubstep with techno, breaks, dub, reggae, UK Funky, Fidget House and anything with big bad bass!"
