Dubstep To Trance. Perfect mashup? BPM opinions.
Its nice mix. This guy did it pretty proper. I believe this was set at 83bpm. Anyone know of any other artists fooling with sound like that? I know nero's innocence is something that comes to mind.

I've always thought about this! Nothing really to add to this except that I think it work perfectly.
I'd love to see some of techy trances heavy melodies make their way into some dubsteppy type percussion patterns.
I don't know if you're familiar with it but I think it was Headhunterz and Brennan Heart who produced this hardstyle track at half the tempo of a normal hardstyle song. Its pretty cool if you like hardstyle haha. I think it was called Point of Perfection or something like that.
Anyways itd be awesome to see more of this stuff! Appropriately of course though, I could see some chud taking this too far.

mix out of the caspa subscape tune geordie racer into any trance tune
mix out of katy on a mission into any trance tune.
same goes for no bra no panties by benga
any dubstep tune with 4/4 kicks or 4/4 claps will work

I always throw a trance tune into the end of my set. Sounds sick if you can pull it off well

Technoboy did the hardstyle track like that first, it's supposed to be influenced by lento which is some italian slow electronic music. I dunno what dubstyle would have do with this thread though cause it's like 80bpm or something. Hardstyle is 140-150 and mixable into dubstep would sound probably shite though.

i wouldn't say softish trance and some of the naked lunch style techno-ish tunes are so different..

Not exactly what you're talking about, but I did make a mix attempting to bridge dubstep and psytrance once as they're quite near to each other in bpm. This was the result, got some nice attention a year back:
