fancy an outsiders point of view

?
ive only just started listening to what i called 'dubstep' but after reading all this i now see as brostep , now the only reason i thought it was dubstep is by either the radio DJ telling me it is, or people branding their own music as dubstep. See i dont see the brostep scene taking anything away from dubstep, it just needs to be rebranded as brostep to stop everyone posting the wrong shit everywhere. Dubstep is still the same as it was years ago, nothings been diluted from it, producers have just taken a different spin on it and should have been categorized it under a different genre which it is now (brostep)
either way, i love a bit of brostep aswell as dubstep, and even if it was called shitstep, dickstep, fagstep, it wouldnt stop me liking it

cause i just think it sounds good, i dont need to be told its dubstep to like it
so basically before i keep going round in circles , here my angle :
dont let genre branding effect what you like, if it sounds good then listen, thats what it all boils down too, and if people want to keep calling there brostep music dubstep, they are only targeting the wrong audience
