Have I temporarily turned invisible??

@Thierry - I like it, reminds me of antiserums old stuff. Drums sound a bit weak though.

@ thierry_le_dj:
Really nice synth sounds, they work well together, however, maybe have some effects blending the synths together. but overall I really like the idea.

@ paravrais:
Liked the arrangement but for me it got a little repetitive, just needs maybe spicing up and made to sound a little more interesting if that makes sense?

@ thierry_le_dj: Really like it, apart from the synth at 50 odd seconds. It doesn't really flow so well with the rest. Also the buzz that comes in after the drop may sound a little phatter with some brass alongside it. Or maybe just move it into the distance a little and put it slightly lower in the frequency range. Love the little clicks at 1:40 and the general vibe of the track!

@ paravrais: Feeling this one so much. I think it should die down around 48 seconds and drop again. It all flows in nicely through the intro, so this would make it all punch nicely. Your melodies that come in are wicked. Got a nice Spanish feel to them IMO. It's a fucking catchy beat man! Nothing to critique sound wise. Just a little work on the arrangement and it'd be schaweet as.

@ leviticus: Wicked sample. Strong sounds. I just really can't vibes with this style of dubstep. But for this tune I think a little work on the sub and it'll punch nice'n hard. It sounds a little droney at the minute compared with the rest of the track (apart from in buildup). It'd be a lot less harsh on the ears if you did one part high wah sound, then another of the same melody but coming out in bass weight. 2 bars of each I think I mean? I'm not sure. A syncopated riff might also work after the second drop, just to keep it flowing.

This is an overly weight mixdown... But you get the idea of the arrangement and the vibe I think. So turn the sub down and turn them speakers up :P
Soundcloud

Again overly weighty mix... You can see where it's (hopefully) going to end up though.

I can't play my tunes loud enough when I mix them down because of complaints from whoever is downstairs. Basically means my mixdowns are always off. :i:

Paravrais/ Your 2 steppy garage thing. Nice ideas in here, the beat is cool. reminds me of the new chase and status 2 step tune thats out (cant remember the name but tis a remix) The production is clean but the synths all sound a bit plasticy to me you get me? Not a bad track at all but just needs filling out a bit. Peace

leviticus/ not a bad mix, doesnt sound mega crisp but the production aint bad. Liking the pitch changing melody, its a nice idea. few bits in there sound a little generic. certainly been playing with your basslines and sounds pretty technical man. nice work

Corfty/ well you commented about the mix down so ill leave that. in terms of the vibe. Little bit repetitive in places but im feeling it man good stuff. My mixes are usually pretty weighty as well, dont produce on headphones by any chance do you? lol thats my problem. To basic gear lol.

Top one in my sig is newest. Let me know what you think, i will upload the revised version to dubs towards the end of the month. !peace!

Hi Guys.
Well from the production aspect I can’t really say much.
I have only been producing for a one and the haft year.
And still feel very nobish. Sorry!

@ RatRaceProducing: RRP Pres. Dr Crunk! - Outside your own head
Love the melody. Very nice track. I only wish there were some more surprising with baseline
If you know what i mean?

@ leviticus:
Dope vocals. And loved the Baseline at 0.47
The end reminded me about. Ohh! Well I forgot the name :(

@ Cr0fty: Untitled
The track made me smile. NOT IN A BAD WAY!
I love the grove to it. Happy dubstep, Love it :D

"can't play my tunes loud enough when I mix them down

@filthy -I really like the samples you used in the beginning, but the high hats sound a little sharp, maybe even tinny? excellent vibe though

@corey -I think thats a really nice sound on both your songs, (release/untitled) my only thoughts are that they feel like there missing a lead instrument, but im a lead instrument kind of guy lol, some people like ambience, to each there own

@leviticus - awesome use of samples, great sounding wobbles, I don't really know what else to say about this one lol, maybe mix up the wobbles a bit?

Anyways, a bit about myself now... been making music for a long time, but only recently started producing electronic music, also, this is actually my first ever full length song, and first post so another neat little fact-ola.

This track wasnt supposed to ever become a track, i was just experimenting. One thing lead to another and another... Now its getting close to finished (well, I can here sort of a real song now lol) and i thought I'd upload it, its still pretty rough though so bare with me.

PS... Intro subs a little loud and sudden, sorry about that, i never noticed till i listened to the .wav

filthy i enjoyed the other track, seemed more like it just came out and together then actually sitting down and over thinking it to death. its nice

parv i thought it was on point. for some reason it reminds me of the gorrilaz but thats definatly a good thing. found my self bobbin my head so that dont lie.

levit- i like the punch your drums pack. the wob makes me feel like my brains goin up and down haha its trippy as hell but definatly a pretty decent track. just let it breathe at some points is the only thing i can say

p3rt, tone down the snare a little bit, not really diggin the synth, and its really hard to destinguish when your dropping it.

Mister Jangles: I take it you're a beginner. It's not the most inspiring dubstep track, but it's a decent start.
The melodies are pretty nice, and the vocals fit in. You really need to work on the mix and the levels though. It all sounds so
muddy at the moment. Bring the snare more upfront and give it some more slap. Also, i know you're a beginner,
but try to step away from those overused modern talking basses (in the long run). So many people using them nowadays, and i started disliking them.
Find your own interesting sounds. Keep it up mate! :D

dabReyes: Actually, same for you. Try to make your drums stand out more from the other sounds. Give the snare some more high end
and put it more upfront. Not a big fan of the basses, but the electric guitars are a nice touch. If only they sounded a little more
"live"... If you can't mix because of the neighbours, invest in headphones to do your mixdowns. Grado SR60i are superb for only 80$.
Keep going! :)

RatRaceProducing: Hmm, weird decay on the reverb of your snare. The melodies sound swell. The white noise sweeps are a nice touch.
But by only looking at the waveform, i can see that your mix is kind of "clogged" with sounds. The kick has no low end
coming through the mix. Eq the bass and the synths more, bring down the levels maybe, and give your drums more room.
Overall i think it's an interesting listen and a promising tune, but the execution could be better. Big up!

@ paravrais Not my style but I can appreciate what you do, I have a couple of friends that would like this, good job.

@thierry_le_dj Nice and clean sounding, good pace. Although I could do with less distortion, thats just personal preference ;)

@leviticus Great intro really got me pumped, and great energy and structure. Good use of effects, I don't know you killed it man.

Well heres my complete over haul of before:

@Jakedubber- im a little confused by whats going on in this song...maybe try to space out the sounds and use less reverb.
@barbearik- i think its awesome, but i think your bass could be a little heavyer, but i am a bit of a WHORE for heavy bass haha.
@ruthyloops- add some nice hats in there!!!!!

Heres my track, any ideas on how to make the bass around 59 seconds filthyer?

Woodlllem- nice talking bass. you could try layering a clean sub underneath especially on your drop. On your mix the kick and snare need to be turned down a bit and the intro synth needs to come up a bit. Keep at it man.

tbunreal- nice improvement. although even with the choir background the atmosphere still seems kind of bare.

TRaffikz- real nice track man I'm digging those plucked strings and you merged the strings and robotic bass very well :W:

MisterJangles - honestly not bad for a fist track of course there is room for improvement but not bad man. As far as talking basses goes you need to experiment with everything to really find your own style and if talking basses are a part of the style you develop so be it, there is a reason they are popular anyways.out. keep at it man.

Bottom of page 11 are my three feedbacks.

Here's more to what I posted earlier (which hasn't received feedback so I figured a more updated version would be better for feedback anyhow...)

I'm hitting a very fast wall and it's only my first real venture into this stuff...oh dear...

@b_brooks I dont really know what to say since that really isn't my genre. but even though its a very mellow song i think it still needs some breaks in there. You know maybe just have a melody go for a while then bring in the percussion. But i did enjoy it :)
