What sample rate do you work at?

Post by aeser » Thu Feb 10, 2011 1:56 pm

I've found 96khz to be a bit of a sweet spot in the past, 192khz sounds nice but for some reason not as pleasing to my ears as 96khz. Though lately I don't know if my hearing is just fucked or what now but i'm not noticing as big a difference between 96khz and 44.1khz as I used to, and as 44.1 takes up WAAAAY less space on my hard drive and consumes way less CPU I was wondering what most of you worked at?

No need to do anything over 44.1 unless you are recording some very high frequency stuff and want to avoid aliasing.
